I chose Altrusa because I wanted to do something useful and help those less fortunate in the community. I always say “I joined for the service and I stayed for the friendships”.

I became an Altrusan in 2013, when I lived in the Dallas, TX area. When I moved to Thibodaux, the nearest Altrusa club was in Baton Rouge, so I got busy chartering a new club here in Thibodaux. If you are interested in finding out more about Altrusa, whether in Louisiana or anywhere else, I would be delighted to put you in touch with someone in your area.
I run my own businesses and I often make items that are Altrusa-based. Every purchase of any item from this store will include a donation to my club, helping us to grow in our community!
